Kinesiology is all about identifying, understanding and releasing stress in the body. It is a natural therapy that uses gentle muscle monitoring to ask questions of the body - allowing the therapist to access conscious and unconscious information related to whatever stress is being worked on. To resolve these stresses, kinesiology draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupressure, reflexology, psychology and can include work with sound, crystals, and essential oils. It is a holistic approach to wellness that can assist with many things including, but not limited to: - Stress - Anxiety - Physical pain - Low energy levels and fatigue - Insomnia - Postural issues - Limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns - Emotional and psychological distress - Digestive complaints The mind and the body are inextricably linked. Mind Body Medicine practitioners believe that very little happens physically in the body that doesn’t originate in the mind. Most of us can remember a time we had pain in the body and we couldn’t figure out why. Perhaps we went for tests and they all came back negative.
