When Everything Feels Too Much: A Guided Energy Reset

You know those days where everything just feels… a bit too much?


Your mind is constantly spinning, your shoulders and neck are tight, your breath is shallow — and no matter how many things you tick off the list, the sense of overwhelm is still there.


It can be useful to try to look at these less as 'symptoms' and more as 'messages' from the body. What is your body asking of you? What is it trying to tell you?


Perhaps it's asking you to slow down. To get up and stretch. To have a glass of water or some food. Perhaps it's just asking you for a moment of stillness and connection with your breath.


There is power in stillness. Power in your breath. The way you breathe influences your nervous system, your emotions and your mental state. Taking a few minutes each day to consciously regulate your breathing can have incredible impacts on your wellbeing. If you're interested in learning more about the physiology and therapeutic power of the breath, I highly recommend "Science of Breath" by Swami Rama. He also outlines some key breathwork techniques that are simple and easy to follow, even for beginners.


When working energetically with clients, I can often see the moment that they 'drop

in' to a healing state. It's an energy shift, a deepening of the breath and a sense of total body relaxation.

Just you, your breath, and a little space to listen in to the messages from the body.
